I've now got the water damaged switch booting up, accepting both controllers, making sounds, the touch screen works, docked video works but no LCD image or backlight. I tried shinning a light in to see if the LCD is running without the backlight, but I see nothing. WebNope. It's dead. The Switch stayed on for just a few seconds until the water seeped its way in to the motherboard and shorted it. You can try unscrewing everything and leaving it out to dry for a few days. Rice doesn't do anything, you can put that away. Do not try turning the Switch back on for probably 3-4 days.
