The 2024 Galway Chess Congress will be held on the weekend of 20th to 22nd March, at the Menlo Park Hotel, Galway.There will be three sections, for players of different strengths, so it is suitable for everybody from Grandmasters to beginners. WebMost club players will take a short break before competing in the Galway Chess Congress on the weekend of September 21st to 23rd in the Salthill Hotel. Ballinasloe retained their Under 12 Galway Community Games title with a 3.5 to 1.5 win over Claregalway in the semi finals and a 4-1 win over Knocknacarra in the final.
