Web8 de ago. de 2013 · I've had great luck with the 4L80E in my 96 suburban. It has 300,000 on it and never even had the fluid changed, let alone anything else. How well would a 4L80E work behind a 4.3L V6 (1997 model Vortec, 200hp/250ft lb) and would the 97 S10 computer that was used work to control the 4L80E? Or should I just stick to another 700r4?
