WebApr 29, 2006 · The reason you NEED it is because when you soak your print in plain water ... the surface-tension prevents the water from penetrating and wetting deep into the "crack" (where the photo is stuck/glued). Without the surface-tension, the water should penetrate better. You will still need to go SLOW .... REAL slow ... I mean VERY slow !!!
